Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision in Bracknell.
At around 10.10pm on Saturday (17/12) a collision happened on Mill Lane, Bracknell just north of the McDonalds’ roundabout.
A silver Range Rover and a red Renault Kadjar were involved in the collision.
Sadly, the driver of the Renault, a woman in her thirties from Bracknell, died at the scene. Her next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers.
The driver of the Range Rover, a 35-year-old man from Bracknell was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and driving above the prescribed alcohol limit. He remains in custody at this time.
Senior investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Lyndsey Blackaby, said: “Sadly a woman has died following this incident. Our thoughts remain with the woman’s family at what must be an extremely distressing time.
“We are carrying out a thorough investigation and we would ask anyone who has witness information to please come forward.
“If you saw either of the vehicles prior to the collision, or the collision itself, please call 101 quoting reference 43220566281.
“Or if you have dash-cam or CCTV footage please upload it to our online portal page if it shows the collision or either of the vehicles travelling prior to the collision.”
