Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been convicted of dangerous driving after a fatal road traffic collision in Oxford.
Today (29/7) at Oxford Crown Court, Robert Whiting, aged 40, of Brome Place, Barton pleaded guilty to one count of causing death by dangerous driving.
On 1 March this year, Dr Ling Felce was cycling on The Plain roundabout when she was hit by a tipper lorry being driven by Whiting.
Sadly, she sustained fatal injuries.
Whiting was arrested the same day and charged on 2 March.
He will be sentenced at Oxford Crown Court on 8 September.
