Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Eton Wick.
The incident occurred between 4.40pm and 5pm yesterday (7/11) in Hayward Mead, Eton Wick.
The victim, a boy in his teens and his friends were riding bikes and an e-scooter along Hayward Mead, when a group of two or three males chased after them.
They caught up to them and the victim was hit on the back causing a puncture wound.
A bag and a bank card was stolen in the incident.
The victim received treatment at Wexham Park hospital from where they have since been discharged.
Investigating officer, Detective Sergeant Anna Davison, based at Maidenhead police station, said: “We are appealing for witnesses in relation to this assault on a teenage boy in Eton Wick.
“I would like to reassure the public that incidents like this are thankfully very rare and a full investigation is underway.
“There will be an increased presence of officers in the area while we conduct our enquiries.
