Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been charged in connection with a robbery in Windsor.
Kyle Hickey, aged 23, of Moneyrow Green, Holyport, Berkshire, was charged with one count each of robbery and threatening a person with a bladed article in a private place yesterday (18/11).
The charge relates to an incident at The Alma public house in Springfield Road sometime between 1.50am and 4am on 11 November.
An offender gained access to the pub and threatened the occupant, a man in his twenties, with a knife.
The offender stole a quantity of cash and property before making their escape in the victim’s white Land Rover Range Rover.
Hickey was remanded in custody and appeared at Reading Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
He was further remanded in custody and is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on 19 December.
