Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a fail to stop collision in Oxford.
At around 9.20pm on Friday (25/11), a black VW Golf was involved with a black Deliveroo moped in Union Street.
The rider of the moped sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.
The VW Golf did not stop at the scene and is described as being Mk6 (2009-2013) and sustained damage to its front including losing the VW badge.
Investigating officer, PC Ruan Brink, based at Abingdon police station, said: “We are appealing to anyone who witnessed this incident to please come forward.
“Further, if anyone has dash-cam footage that may help with the investigation, we’d ask that you get in touch.
“Anyone with information can make a report by calling 101 or via the Thames Valley Police website, quoting reference 43220532222.”
