CCTV image released following theft and burglaries – Witney

Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to as he may have vital information regarding a theft and burglaries in North Leigh and Witney.
The first incident occurred at around midnight on Wednesday (7/9) in Park Lane, North Leigh, where a Silver Renault Megane was stolen.
Then at around 1.15am, there was an attempted burglary at a property in Eton Close, Witney, where a man tries the door handle of a house, but it was locked.
On Thursday (8/9) at around 3.20am, a similar incident occurred in Thorney Leys, Witney, with a door handle and a car door handle being tried but both were locked.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Samantha Hall, based at Witney police station, said: “We would like to appeal to anybody who recognises the man in this image to please get in touch as we believe they may have information in connection with this incident.
“We would also like to appeal to those within the area with CCTV or doorbell camera footage.
