Appeal for witnesses to serious injury road traffic collision – Ascot

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Ascot.

A black Yamaha YP250 X-MAX was involved in a collision on Kings Ride at the junction with Brook Avenue at 9.55pm on Friday (1/9).

The rider of the moped, a man in his thirties, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains at this time.

Investigating officer PC Toby Iredale, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this collision, whereby a man has sustained serious injuries, to please come forward.

“I would also like to know if anyone has any dash cam footage of the collision.
