Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault in High Wycombe.
At around 3.30pm yesterday (28/2) the victim, a girl, was walking along Channer Drive, Tylers Green.
A man appeared in front of the victim and assaulted her. The offender then pushed the victim and she fell over, before running away.
The victim suffered some grazes to her knees.
The offender is described as a black man, approximately 20-30 years-old, around 6ft tall, and of muscular build. He was wearing a long black jacket and black trousers.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Holly Stockwell, based at Amersham police station, said: “We are in the very early stages of an investigation and I am appealing for anyone with information about this assault to please come forward.
“If anyone has any information, or any CCTV or dashcam footage from the area around the time of the incident, please call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230091719.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.
“You may see an increased number of patrols in the area and there will be an additional reassurance police presence in the coming days.”
