Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, four men have been sentenced for grievous bodily harm and affray in Wooburn Green.
Dylan Davies, aged 18 of Pine Walk, Hazelmere, Daniel Baxter, aged 21, of Patterson Court, Wooburn Green, Harry Grubb aged 20, of Parliament Close, Prestwood and Kai Walker aged 21, of Barleyfields, Wooburn Green, were all found guilty by a unanimous jury verdict of Section 20 grievous bodily harm and affray following a four week trial at Amersham Crown Court, which concluded on 8 December last year.
During the same trial, the four men were cleared of Section 18 grievous bodily harm with intent.
All four men were sentenced to two years’ imprisonment on Tuesday 21 February.
At around 11.25pm on 2 March 2019, the victim, a man now in his forties, and his wife were at their home on Thornaby Place when they heard shouting being directed at their property.
The couple went outside to find Davies, Baxter, Grubb and Walker shouting abuse. The victim shouted back at them and the four men ran towards the victim and stabbed him three times in his torso.
Davies, Grubb and Walker were arrested the following day and Baxter was arrested on 4 March 2019. They were all charged via a postal requisition on 12 July 2021.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Lisa Murton, of Amersham CID, said: “This was a shocking assault near to the victim’s home, resulting in the victim receiving serious injuries.
“I am pleased that Davies, Baxter, Grubb and Walker have received a prison sentence and I commend the victim for supporting the police investigation.
“Thames Valley Police will robustly investigate offences of this nature and bring offenders to justice.”
