Man charged with driving offences – Lambourn, Berkshire

Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been charged with driving offences in Lambourn, Berkshire.

Stuart Wise, aged 52, of Northfields, Lambourn, was charged by postal requisition with one count each of failing to stop for police and driving without insurance on Saturday (7/1).

The charges relate to an incident in Northfields, Lambourn, at around 5pm on 26 July last year.

Officers from the Rural Crime Taskforce stopped a vehicle that showed as having no insurance but it made off before they got out of their car.

The officers tried to stop the vehicle but it refused before they discontinued the pursuit.

The officers located the vehicle abandoned a short time later and seized it.

Wise is due to appear at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on 9 February.
