Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious injury road traffic collision in High Wycombe.
At around midday on Tuesday (17/1), an orange Vauxhall Mokka was involved in a collision with a pedestrian on the A40 Oxford Road outside of the Eden Shopping Centre.
The pedestrian, a woman in her eighties, sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment where she remains.
Investigating officer, PC Christopher Miller, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.
“If you are a motorist with a dash-cam and you were in the area at around this time on Tuesday, please check any footage in case it may have captured something that could assist with the investigation.
“Anyone with information can make a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43230024520.”
