Man charged in connection with robbery – Woodley

Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been charged in connection with a robbery in Woodley.
Shaun Atkins, aged 40, of no fixed abode, was charged with one count of robbery this morning (19/1).
The charge relates to a robbery at Lloyds Bank in Crockhamwell Road yesterday (18/1).
Atkins was remanded in custody and is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court this morning.
A 30-year-old woman from Woodley was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery yesterday. She has been released under investigation.
