Nominations for Thames Valley Police's 2023 Community Policing Awards are still open.
These awards are in their 22nd year and provide the opportunity for you to nominate officers, staff and volunteers who have made an exceptional difference to your community.
If you know someone who has gone above and beyond in their role, someone who you believe should be recognised for their efforts in protecting our communities over the last year and you would like to say thank you to them, please consider them for this year’s Community Policing Awards.
There are eight categories this year and they are:
Community Police Officer
Do you know a neighbourhood police officer who has made an exceptional difference to your community?
Police Community Support Officer
Can you think of a PCSO who has made an outstanding contribution to your community?
Special Constable
Do you know a Special Constable who has gone above and beyond to protect your community?
Diversity Champion
Do you know someone who always strives to improve diversity in your community?
Volunteer
Do you know a volunteer who actively supports the police and volunteers to work within a team in Thames Valley Police?
Cadet
Do you know a cadet who supports fellow cadets, shows initiative, supports community events, is committed to and is an advocate for the police force?
Community Volunteer
Do you know a volunteer who isn’t employed by Thames Valley Police but assists with community concerns and enforcing the law?
Problem Solving Award
Do you know an individual or team who have worked collectively to problem solve a community issue connected to crime reduction, anti-social behaviour and/or vulnerability which has made an outstanding difference to a community.

Nominations will close on Monday 21 August and the winners will be announced at the end of October.
