The family of James Dollar, who tragically died following a road traffic collision in Shillingford on 4 July, have released a tribute to him.
“In Memoriam. It is with profound sadness that the family of James Dollar announce the news of his tragic death of 4 July 2023.
“Born in 1968 and raised in a small village in Northamptonshire, James graduated with a first class honours degree in Engineering from the University of York.
“He went on to pursue a successful career in engineering at the Ford Motor Company and more recently at Sharp UK.
“A devout Christian, James was an active member of his local church. He touched many people with his kindness and selfless generosity.
“James was known to all his family and friends as a kind, generous and caring man. He was father to two boys, whom he loved very much, and he will be greatly missed by them both.
“The biggest consoling factor is that he had a living faith in Jesus and we know he is in heaven with him now.
“James’s large wider family, his brother and sisters, cousins, nieces, nephews, aunt and uncle and his adopted family around the world love him and miss him very much.
“We would like to pass on our sincere thanks for all the condolences received and respectfully request peace and privacy as we mourn our great loss.
“Thank you.”
