Thames Valley Police officer charged – Slough

Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a serving police officer has been charged.
Sergeant Cerrig Shardlow, based at Slough police station, has been charged with one count of attempted sexual communication with a child.
Sergeant Shardlow, aged 44, is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 5 April.
He is currently suspended from duty.
