Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, two men have been sentenced for drug offences in High Wycombe.

Chow San Dylan Lo, aged 27, of Rennie Close, High Wycombe, was sentenced to eight months in prison at Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday (6/3).

He pleaded guilty to one count of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis.

Joshua Peters, aged 29, of London Road, High Wycombe, was given a year-and-a-half community order with up to 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days.

He pleaded guilty to one count of possession with intent to supply of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis.

At around 12.30pm on 4 March 2020, officers witnessed a suspected drugs deal between Peters and four males who were not from the town in Fennels Road.

Peters made off but officers located 105 grams of cannabis by a car linked to him and he was later arrested.

Lo’s DNA was on the drugs packaging and text messages showed he had arranged the deal.

Peters was charged on 26 October 2020 and Lo was charged on 5 May 2021.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Joe Openshaw, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “I am pleased that the court has passed an appropriate sentence to Chow San Dylan Lo and Joshua Peters.

“Peters tried to make off from police when he was caught supplying cannabis in a residential area by a children’s play park.

“There was more than 100 grams of cannabis located by Peters’ car, which has been seized and now will be destroyed.

“There were also messages showing Lo’s involvement in the supply of cannabis.

“We will continue to work hard to bring offenders to justice as Thames Valley Police will not tolerate drug-dealing.

“We continue to need the support of the public in this, and we would ask them to report any information that they have about drug dealing.

“This can be shared with Thames Valley Police on our website or by calling 101.

“You can also report information anonymously by calling independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
