A message from Thames Valley Police on the Coronation of Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla:

Across the Thames Valley, our officers will be attending screenings, street parties and community events to ensure attendees’ safety and be part of the celebrations. Please say hi if you see them!

Two of our officers have the distinction of being part of the policing operation in London by patrolling the route of The King’s Procession and The Coronation Procession.

On this historic day, we will be working with event organisers and partners to provide an effective and proportionate policing response and ensure the safety of the public.

Across Windsor, residents, business and visitors will have noticed an increased police presence, which is part of the many visible and not so visible security measures in place in the town. Remember, if you see or hear something that doesn’t feel right, please speak to one of our officers, or call 101 or 999 in an emergency.

Lastly, our best wishes to Their Majesties King Charles III and Queen Camilla on their special day.
