Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to an assault in Newbury.
At around 3.30pm on Tuesday (9/5), the offender assaulted the victim, a man in his twenties, on Queen's Road before running towards the Burger King car park.
The victim suffered facial injuries but did not require hospital treatment.
A 32-year-old man from Thatcham was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm on Tuesday. He has been released on police bail.
Investigating officer PC Andrew Whitfield, based at Newbury police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this assault to please come forward.
“Anyone with information should call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43230201769.
“Alternatively, you can provide information anonymously to the independent charity, Crimestoppers, by calling 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
