Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which, happened on the Reading Road, Wokingham.
At around 11.45am officers were called to reports of collision between a pedestrian and a black Vauxhall Astra.
The pedestrian, a man in his seventies, suffered serious injuries and was given emergency treatment but sadly passed away at scene. The man’s next of kin have been informed and are being supported by officers.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
Road closures were in place but have been lifted, we would like to thank members of public for their patience while our enquiries were ongoing.
PC Emma Card of the Joint Operations Roads policing Unit, said: “This is a tragic incident in which a man has sadly died our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time.
“We are carrying out an investigation and we would ask anyone with information or dash-cam footage to please get in touch.
