Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of a man officers would like to speak to following a series of shoplifting incidents in Oxford.
On multiple occasions, between Sunday 2 April and Sunday 7 May, a large amount of items have been stolen from a shop in Broad Street, including board games, soft toys and books.
Investigating officer PC Jessica Brandish, based at St Aldates police station, said: “We are releasing a CCTV image of a man we would like to speak to as we believe he may have information regarding these incidents.
“We believe that on taking the items from the shop, the offender meets someone outside who empties these into a child’s buggy and the offender re-enters the shop to take more.
“We are asking anyone who recognises this man to please come forward and contact Thames Valley Police via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference 43230185663.
“If you do not wish to speak to the police, you can contact the independent Charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and they will take your information 100% anonymously.”
