Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been disqualified from driving for a year for a drug driving offence in Slough.
Gurdeep Malhi, aged 25, of Billet Lane, Slough, pleaded guilty to one count of driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit and was sentenced at Slough Magistrates Court on Thursday (11/5).
The offence occurred on 13 November in Billet Lane when Malhi was caught driving over the drug drive limit.
Investigating officer PC Luke Jenkins of the Joint Roads Policing Unit said: “I am pleased to see that this conviction has resulted in a 12-month disqualification.
“Hopefully this is enough time enough for Malhi to consider his actions.”
