Thames Valley Police are appealing for witnesses following an incident of public order in Kidlington.
The incident occurred at around 9.30pm on Monday (22/5) in the area of Osborne Close, Brandon Close and the surrounding area near to the canal.
A person was assaulted by three offenders and a knife was brandished.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Sam Buzzard, said: “I would like to appeal to anybody in the area who may have camera footage, witnessed this or any information regarding this incident, to please get in touch.
“We are yet to identify the victim in this incident so I would also appeal to them to come forward.

An 18-year-old man from Bicester, a 20-year-old man of no fixed abode and a 20-year-old from London have been arrested on suspicion of affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
They have all been bailed until 22 August.
