Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of grievous bodily harm in Bracknell.
At approximately 3.10pm yesterday (15/11), the victim, a man aged in his fifties, was walking through Winscombe Park in Great Hollands, Bracknell.
As he walked along the footpath near to the play area, two males on electric scrambler bikes have driven towards him.
One of the offenders punched him as he passed, causing the victim to fall to the floor and sustain a badly fractured arm and swelling to his face.
An altercation between the victim and two males, believed to be the same offenders, occurred at approximately 6pm the previous evening (14/11) outside the William Twigg public house.
The offenders are both described as white men, aged in their early twenties.
They were wearing black face masks and dressed in black clothing. They spoke with local accents.
The victim was taken to hospital for treatment, where he remains at this time.
Case investigator Victoria Burgess, based at Loddon Valley police station, said: “I am appealing to anybody who witnessed this assault, which appears to have been unprovoked, to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“You can do so by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43230514060.
“I would also be keen to hear from anybody who witnessed the altercation on the previous evening at the William Twigg public house.
“If you believe you know the offenders, or witnessed either incident, please contact us.
“If you would rather not speak directly to police, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
