Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been sentenced to four years and 10 months’ imprisonment for drug-dealing offences.
Tajal Campbell, aged 20, of St George’s Road, Reading, was sentenced at Reading Crown Court on Friday (9/11). Campbell pleaded guilty to one count each of possession with intent to supply class A drugs – namely cocaine, being concerned in the supply of heroin, being concerned in the supply of cocaine, and two counts of being concerned in the supply of class B drugs – namely cannabis.
Between 21 November 2021 and 5 May 2023, Campbell was found to be involved in drug-dealing in Reading. As part of the investigation, officers recovered over £3,000 of cash, as well as cannabis and cocaine. Officers also recovered phones which were linked to drug dealing.
He was charged on 5 May 2023.
Detective Constable Aimee Usher, based in Reading police station, said: “Officers in Reading are committed to targeting those who seek to deal drugs which has a detrimental effect on our communities.
“We will relentlessly pursue people who are dealing drugs, investigate them and bring them before the courts to face justice.
