Man sentenced for robbery and fraud – High Wycombe

Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been sentenced for robbery and fraud offences that took place in High Wycombe.

Andre Gibson, aged 22, of HMP Bullingdon, pleaded guilty to one count each of robbery and fraud at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday (27/10).

He was sentenced to two years and ten months in prison.

The sentence relates to offences that occurred on 21 August 2022 in Castle Place.

Gibson robbed the victim, a man in his thirties, of a bank card, before using it in a McDonald’s and a petrol station.

Investigating officer, Detective Constable Mel Harris, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “The conviction of Andre Gibson was the direct result of the support of the victim and of the diligent and positive investigation by High Wycombe’s Priority Crime Team.

“The sentence handed down by the court rightly reflects the offences he committed.”
