Thames Valley Police is appealing for information following an assault in Wheatley.
At around 9.16pm on Saturday (2/9) officers attended The New Club, Wheatley, after reports of a man being assaulted outside the premises.
The victim, a man in his fifties, received head injuries, and was taken to hospital. He has since been discharged.
A 26-year-old man from Oxfordshire was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm, he has been released on bail, while enquiries continue.
Investigating officer Detective Constable David Hughes, said: “Thames Valley Police have arrested a man in connection with this incident, our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing for the public’s help to support our investigation.”
