Yesterday (13/9), we issued CCTV images to try to identify a man who was the victim of an assault in Reading.
We have now identified the man and we have removed the images.
We are still appealing for witnesses who may have seen something when the assault occurred at around 9.10pm on Saturday (9/9) in Oxford Road, Reading, near to The White Eagle pub.
Investigating officer Detective Inspector Beverley Pearse said: “We would like to appeal to anyone who witnessed this assault or was driving through the area at the time and may have dash-cam footage to come forward.
“If you have any information on the incident please call 101 or make a report online, quoting reference 43230409855.
“Alternatively, for 100% anonymity, you can also call the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
