Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an attempted robbery in High Wycombe.
Between 4.30pm and 5pm on Thursday (1/8), a teenaged boy was cycling up Marlow Hill when he was approached by five other teenaged boys and was asked to hand over his bike.
The victim said no and was then punched by one of the offenders.
He was not injured and rode away.
The offenders are described as two white boys aged between 16 and 18-years-old, both with buzz cut hairstyles, one with brown hair and the other ginger brown hair, and three other boys around 13-years-old, one wearing a black man bag and blue reading glasses.
Investigating officer Police Staff Investigator Victoria Rogers said: “We are appealing for witnesses following this attempted robbery.
“Anyone with information can contact police by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240367660.
“Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or via their website.”
