Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been jailed for drugs offences in Aylesbury and Stoke Mandeville.
Ryan Elston, aged 31, of Ebble Close, Aylesbury, was sentenced to four years and two months in prison at Aylesbury Crown Court on Friday 2 August.
Elston pleaded guilty to one count each of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class A, namely cocaine, being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis, at the same hearing. He also pleaded guilty to two counts of acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
On 10 February 2022, officers stopped a suspicious vehicle in Lower Road, Stoke Mandeville. Officers found a large amount of cannabis and cash along with Elston as a passenger so they arrested him. The investigation later found the drugs and cash belonged to him.
On 23 October last year, officers stopped and searched Elston at Aqua Vale car park in Aylesbury, while he was released under investigation.
Officers found an amount of cash and items relating to drug supply so they arrested him again.
During the investigation, officers found Elston was supplying cannabis between 10 February 2022 and 16 June this year, and supplying cocaine between 23 October last year and 16 June this year.
Elston was charged on 17 June.
Investigating officer PC Gary Ratcliffe, based at Aylesbury police station, said: “This conviction and sentencing shows police will robustly target those who deal illegal drugs and the courts will put them in prison.
“The information from the public around drugs supply offences plays an important role in helping to stop illegal drugs supply, which will not be tolerated.
