Following a Thames Valley Police investigation, a man has been sentenced for attempted burglary in Chesham.
Tyler Strickland, aged 38, of Sunnyside Road, Chesham, was sentenced to ten months in prison at Amersham Crown Court yesterday (8/8).
At the same hearing, Strickland pleaded guilty of one count of attempted burglary.
On 3 June, Strickland attempted to gain access to the address of a woman in her thirties in Chartridge Lane.
Strickland was arrested and charged on 7 June.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Matthew Roberts, of the Priority Crime Team based at Aylesbury police station, said: “Tyler Strickland is a persistent offender, so I am glad that he has received a custodial sentence.
“We will continue to protect local communities from harm and I hope this result shows them that we are determined to get repeat offenders off our streets.”
