Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious injury single vehicle collision in Steventon.
At approximately 5.20am this morning (18/8), a red Honda motorcycle with two riders has left the road on The Green, near to Steventon Village Hall, before colliding with a tree and a lamppost.
The motorcyclist and passenger sustained serious and potentially life-threatening injuries and were taken to hospital, where they remain at this time.
The road was closed for some time, but has since re-opened.
Investigating officer PC Debbie Green of the Roads Policing Unit said: “I am appealing to anybody who may have witnessed this to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“I’d be particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam or CCTV footage that has captured the collision, or the moments leading up to the collision to contact us.
“You can do so by calling 101 or making a report online, quoting incident reference 450 (18/8).”
