Thames Valley Police is releasing a CCTV image of an individual officers would like to speak to following a theft in Oxford.
At approximately 4.30pm on Friday (9/8) at Janus House in Osney Mead, the victim locked their bike in the secure bike rack, which was then cut from the lock and then hidden until the offender returned at around 9.30pm and stole the bike.
The bike is described as a grey Triban Grvl 520 SRAM Apex and is worth around £1,300.
Investigating officer DC Lee Dix, based at Oxford police station, said: “I am appealing for anyone who recognise the individual in the photo to please come forward as we believe they may have information about the incident.
“If you witnessed or have images or footage of any of these incidents, please call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240382117.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
