Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault at the Co-operative store in High Street, Kidlington.
At around 10am on Saturday (17/8), the victim, a male staff member aged in his twenties, became involved in a verbal altercation with a woman.
This altercation escalated and the offender bit the employee, resulting in injuries, which required medical treatment.
The offender is described as a Southeast Asian woman, aged in her early forties.
She was wearing a grey short-sleeved t-shirt with a logo on the front, blue jeans and flip flops.
She was also wearing white Airpods.
Investigating officer PC Will Green said: “Assaults on shop workers are not acceptable under any circumstances and will not be tolerated.
“I would urge anybody who believes that they witnessed this incident to please get in touch with Thames Valley Police, either online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240395138.
