Thames Valley Police is releasing an image of an individual officers would like to speak to following a theft in Wantage.
On Monday 29 July at approximately 5.30pm, the victim had arranged to sell a phone over Facebook marketplace and had agreed to meet at St Mary’s, Wantage. However when the offender came to collect the phone the offender ran off without paying for it.
The phone was a purple Apple IPhone 14.
Investigating officer DC Lee Dix, said: “I am appealing to anyone who recognises the man in this image to please come forward as we believe he may have information about the incident.
“If you witnessed or have images or footage of this incident, please call 101 or make a report on our website, quoting reference number 43240361844.
“Alternatively, you can contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or via its website.”
