Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses and information in relation to an incident of stalking in Witney.
Between 12.40pm and 1pm on Thursday (15/8), the victim, a teenage girl, was walking in Harvest Way on the Madley Park Estate when a man has approached her in a silver car.
He asked the victim to take his mobile phone number, and the victim refused to engage with her.
However, the offender persisted, before leaving the area. The girl was not harmed.
The offender is described as a south Asian man, aged around 30-years-old but did not have any distinguishing features. The car he was driving was silver, and possibly a hatchback model.
Investigating officer PC Jonathan Wolverson said: “I would like to appeal to anybody who believes that they witnessed this incident to get in touch with Thames Valley Police.
“I’d be particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have dash-cam or CCTV from the area to check this and contact the force if it has captured anything that may assist this investigation.
“You can get in touch either via our website or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240394070.
“If you have any digital evidence, you can also respond via our dedicated portal for this investigation.”
