Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a disturbance in which a firearm may have been discharged in Slough.
At around 5pm on Thursday (29/8), the Force received reports of a disturbance outside a property in Maplin Park, Slough, with information being provided that a firearm had been discharged in the direction of a property.
Officers attended the scene and an investigation has been launched.
No one was injured during the incident.
Detective Inspector Ryan Powell, said: “We are investigating this incident and following a number of lines of enquiry.
“At this time we believe that this was an isolated incident and may have been targeted.
“Members of the public will see an increased police presence while we investigate as well as further patrols.
“We would ask anyone with information around the incident to please get in touch.
“Witnesses can provide information through our online reporting pages, or by calling 101 quoting reference 43240415638.
“Or if you do not wish to speak to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 and they will take your information anonymously.”
