Thames Valley Police is appealing for information following a serious injury road traffic collision in Oxford.
The collision happened on the westbound carriageway towards Oxford on the A40 at the junction with the Thornhill Park and Ride at 7am today (22/12).
A red Toyota Aygo travelling away from Oxford and turning right into the park and ride and a black Audi A3 travelling towards Oxford were in collision.
The driver and two passengers in the Toyota have sustained serious injuries and are currently in hospital.
Investigating officer, Police Sergeant James Matthews of the Thames Valley Police Roads Policing department said: “I am appealing to the driver of a HGV that was at the junction when the collision occurred to contact the force, as they may have witnessed the collision.
“I am also appealing to anyone with information or footage from the area to contact Thames Valley Police as soon as possible.
