Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Benson.
At approximately 4pm yesterday (26/12) on the footpath running parallel to Littleworth Road, the victim, a woman in her seventies, was barged into by a man. He has then sworn at the victim before throwing her out the way.
The victim sustained bruising to the ankle, no hospital treatment was required.
The offender is described as being white, of a slim build and around 5ft 10ins tall. He was seen to be wearing a black puffer jacket, balaclava and a black beanie hat.
Investigating officer PC Nicholas Fisher said: “We are appealing for information following this assault.
“We are asking anyone who lives in the area and may have witnessed the incident or have doorbell footage to please get in touch.
"Anyone with information can make a report online or call 101 quoting reference 43240623645.
“If you do not wish to speak to police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
