Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a fatal road traffic collision which occurred on the M40, near Denham.
At around 10.30pm last night (28/12), a man was seen walking on the junction 1 exit slip road of the M40 (A40 northbound), when he was involved in a collision with a grey Audi A4.
The driver of the Audi was not injured in the incident.
No arrests have been made.
Inspector Simon Hills of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “This was a tragic incident which has very sadly resulted in the death of a male pedestrian.
“I am appealing to anybody who was driving in the area at the time of the collision to please check their dash-cam footage and contact Thames Valley Police if it has captured anything that can assist this investigation.
“I would also urge anybody who saw the male on the carriageway in the moments leading up to the collision, or who witnessed the incident, to please get in touch.
“You can do so by calling 101, or make a report online, quoting reference number 43240626547.
“Enquiries are ongoing to identify the victim’s next of kin, and that remains one of our top priorities at this time.”
