Zayaan Price, aged 20, of Micklefield Road, High Wycombe, was sentenced to four years and six months in prison following a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on Wednesday 18 December.
In the same hearing, Price pleaded guilty to two counts of possession with intent to supply a controlled drug of class A, namely heroin and cocaine, and one count each of concern in the supply of a controlled drug of class A, namely cocaine and possession of a controlled drug of class B, namely cannabis.
On 15 April last year, officers were approached by Price and two other men in Micklefield area of High Wycombe. Upon realising they had approached police officers, they made off but were swiftly detained.
While making off, a quantity of drugs and a phone was discarded.
Price and the other men were released on conditional bail while the investigation continued.
Following a lengthy investigation, Price was discovered as the controller of a drugs line operating in High Wycombe and surrounding areas.
He was subsequently arrested on 4 April this year and was charged the following day.
The other two men were released with no further action.
Investigating officer PC Matt Pepper said: “We will never tolerate drug dealing in our communities, which often harm the most vulnerable people.
“Our efforts to tackle offenders like Price are relentless. We will continue to proactively investigate, prosecute, and disrupt those involved in the supply of drugs, using both visible and covert methods to keep our streets safe.
