Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police a man has been sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment after he was convicted of child sexual offences.
Kenneth Davies, also known as ‘Popeye’, aged 30, of no fixed abode, was sentenced after he pleaded guilty to eleven offences, including six counts of sexual activity with a child by penetration, two counts of non-fatal strangulation and one count of actual bodily harm.
The offences happened in High Wycombe against two victims who are girls.
Davies was sentenced at Aylesbury Crown Court on Monday (23/12) after he pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing in August.
He will be on license for a further six years on his release and has been made the subject of a sexual harm prevention order for life.
Investigating officer PC Csumrik, said: “Davies subjected both his victims to abuse and was violent against them.
“He is a predatory and dangerous individual who is rightly behind bars.
“I would like to thank his victims for bravely reporting Davies’ crimes against them and I hope his conviction provides some closure on their terrible ordeals.
“Thames Valley Police will always treat crimes where there has been violence against women and girls with the utmost seriousness and we will always investigate thoroughly to bring offenders to justice.”
