Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police, a man has been given a criminal behaviour order and sentenced for shoplifting in High Wycombe.
Anthony Dix, aged 40 of Mendip Way, High Wycombe was sentenced at High Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (26/11) to 10 weeks imprisonment, suspended for 12 months.
He was also made subject of a Criminal Behaviour Order.

At around 10.30am on Monday 25 November, Dix entered a shop in High Wycombe. Shop staff have engaged with him and asked him to leave.
He has refused and carried on and gone to start to conceal electrical items on his person. He has then left the shop without paying and has been detained. Officers have then attended to arrest him.
He was charged the same day and appeared in court the following day and pleaded guilty to one count of shoplifting.
Investigating officer, PC Cameron Elliot, said: “Dix has now been given a Criminal Behaviour Order with conditions he must follow.
“We remain committed to supporting retailers who are impacted by shoplifting by bringing offenders such as Dix before the courts to face justice.”
