Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision in Chipping Norton, in which an 18-year-old man sustained serious, potentially life-changing injuries.
At 5.24pm on Thursday (1/2), a grey Volkswagen Golf estate and a Lexmoto motorcycle were involved in a collision in West Street.
The rider of the motorcycle sustained serious injuries and was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, where he remains in a serious but stable condition.
The driver of the Golf was not injured in the collision and no arrests have been made.
Investigating officer PC Dan Carter of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit said: “This collision occurred in West Street near to West End in the middle of the evening.
“I am confident that there will be drivers who have dash-cam in their vehicles that may have captured the incident.
“I’m appealing to anybody with dash-cam to please check this and contact us if it has captured the collision or the moments leading up to it.
“Likewise, if you witnessed this incident, please get in touch with you.
“You can do so by making a report online or by calling 101, quoting reference 43240050732.”
