Appeal for witnesses to serious injury collision – Wokingham

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a serious injury road traffic collision in Wokingham.
At around 8.25am on Thursday 1 February, a black Nissan Micra and a pedestrian were involved in a collision at a traffic light controlled crossing on Wiltshire Road.
The pedestrian, a teenage boy, sustained a broken arm and required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.
Investigating officer, PC Thomas Dickinson, of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit, said: “We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident to please come forward.
“Additionally, we’d ask any motorists with dash-cams who were in the local area around the time of the incident to check footage in case they may have captured something that could help our investigation. You can submit footage to our dedicated online portal.
