Following an investigation by Thames Valley Police’s Major Crime Unit, a man has been charged with murder in Milton Keynes.
The force was called by South Central Ambulance Service at 6.47pm on Thursday (25/1) to report that a man had been found stabbed in a building in Fen Street.
Sadly, the victim, a 48-year-old man, died at the scene.
This evening (29/1), Jay Lupton, aged 24, of Fen Street, Milton Keynes, has been charged with one count of murder and two counts of assault by beating of an emergency worker in police custody.
He is due to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court tomorrow (30/1).
We are not looking for anyone else in connection with this investigation.
