Thames Valley Police is appealing for a specific witness following reports of an assault in Oxford.
The incident occurred at around 8.13pm on Sunday 2 June at Iffley Lock. The victim, a man in his thirties, was assaulted by the offender after the victim asked him to put his dogs on a lead.
A member of the public recorded the incident of assault on his mobile phone.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Lee Dix, said: “I would like to appeal for the member of the public who recorded the incident on his phone in case they have captured something that could assist our investigation.
“If you believe this was you, or if you or you would like to report anything further, you can get in touch by either making a report online or by calling 101 quoting reference number 43240257706.
