Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a woman was sexually assaulted by a man on a bicycle in Slough last week.
The incident occurred around 8.15pm on Tuesday 9 July at the pedestrian crossing on Wexham Road, just prior to the junction for Diamond Road.
As a woman in her 20s was walking along the road, a man on a pedal cycle rode towards her and then inappropriately touched her, before cycling away. The woman also suffered some scratches on her neck.
The man is described as being Asian, around 25-years-old, with a short beard. He was wearing a cap with a chevron on and a brown jacket.
Investigating officer Detective Constable Georgia Hall said: “No woman should be made to feel unsafe or threatened while walking home and I want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who could have seen this man on his bike in the Wexham Road area around 8.15pm.
“In particular, the lady has told us a car passed by at the moment she was inappropriately touched and the driver beeped their horn. If that was you, please can I ask you get in touch with us as soon as possible.
“Anyone with information should call 101 or you can submit information on our website, quoting the reference 43240329019.
“If you have any dash-cam footage or CCTV which may assist us, you can also submit this by going to our dedicated online portal for this investigation.”
