Thames Valley Police is releasing images of two men who may have information about an assault that happened in Oxford.
At around 5.40pm on Sunday 14 April there was an altercation between two groups of people near Isis Lock off Rewley Road.
A man, aged in his twenties, sustained a laceration to his arm that required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.
A 28-year-old man from Cambridge was arrested on suspicion of section 18 – grievous bodily harm with intent and has been released on bail.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Kevin Scott, of Oxford CID, said: “We are releasing the images of these men as we believe they may have information that could help our investigation into this assault.
“If it is you in the images, or you recognise one of the men, please get in touch by calling 101 or via the Thames Valley Police website, quoting reference 43240170822.
“Anonymous reports can be submitted to the independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111 or online.”
