Appeal for witnesses to aggravated burglary – Buckinghamshire

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an incident of aggravated burglary in Buckinghamshire.

Between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Thursday 31 October, burglaries occurred at properties in Roundwood Road, Amersham and Chessfield Park, Little Chalfont.

Between three and five offenders, who were armed with unknown weapons, travelled to the targeted properties via car.

Gold and a quantity of cash were stolen from the properties.

The victim, a 12-year-old boy suffered minor injuries to his head. No other victims were injured.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Molly Dugmore, of Buckinghamshire’s Priority Crime Team, said: “I would like to reassure the residents of Buckinghamshire that we take all reports of aggravated burglaries very seriously, and enquires are ongoing to identify those responsible.

“I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed either of these aggravated burglaries or has information about it to please get in touch.

“We are also appealing for witnesses that may have seen vehicles acting suspiciously in these areas between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on 31 October.
