Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following an assault in Newbury.
At around midday on Wednesday 13 November an assault took place outside the Boots store in Northbrook Street, Newbury.
During the incident there has been a disturbance between a man in his fifties, and another man and a woman.
During the incident the man in his fifties was bitten. The man did not require hospital treatment.
A 29-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman have been arrested on suspicion of assault. They have been released on police bail.
Investigating officer PC Christopher Tayler, said: “We are investigating this assault and appealing for the public’s help.
“Two people have been arrested and bailed.
“We are asking any witnesses to this assault in Northbrook Street at around Midday to please come forward.
“If you have information you can add it to our online form or by calling 101 quoting reference 43240549184.
“Or if you do not wish to speak to the police you can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 to provide information.”
